I am an Infant, Early Childhood and Perinatal Mental Health Specialist with specialized training and expertise in children birth through 6 years old, and parents during prenatal and postpartum periods. I work with families navigating challenges in mental health, behavior, and development, while promoting emotion regulation, reflection, healing, and strengthening attachment relationships. My approach is tailored to each individual family, stemming from psychodynamic principles and other evidence-based therapies. I offer play therapy and perinatal mental health services, as well as parenting support, coaching and consultation.
Play therapy provides a unique environment where children increase self-awareness and confidence, become resilient and adaptable, learn to manage big emotions through age-appropriate coping skills, and adjust to life events. Play therapy services include child-parent dyadic therapy, play-based developmental therapy, and play therapy for selective mutism.
Through perinatal psychotherapy and parent-infant psychotherapy, I help parents who may be stressed, overwhelmed or ambivalent, may not feel bonded with their baby, or easily distressed by fussiness; parents with depression/anxiety, birth trauma or infant loss; parents with childhood trauma. I work with moms, dads, and non-birthing parents.
