My name is Emily, and I'm a Licensed clinical social worker with over ten years of experience working with families and individuals. I focus on issues such as anxiety, grief, life transitions, depression, and aging. I utilize a variety of modalities based on the best fit for the individual, including CBT, DBT, Strength Based, Positive Psychology, Family Systems, and Grief work. I believe my role is to provide a safe space for you to openly process your truth, and provide my guidance and structure as needed.
My communication style is to create a relaxed and comfortable environment where you feel accepted and respected. I believe you are the expert on yourself, and I learn the most from listening with a nonjudgmental ear and asking clarifying questions when needed. I aim to help you see yourself in a more positive light and build your inner strengths.
