During our sessions, we will work together to increase self-awareness surrounding long-standing cognitions in order to nurture congruence between your intrapersonal world and outward actions. My approach is influenced by existentialist, psychodynamic, and attachment theories, as well as mentalization based treatment. In other words, I work through several combined approaches in order to help you identify how your past experiences have shaped the way you view the world today.
It is in this way that we will work together to lay the foundation for you to create and maintain thriving relationships. Every person is different. With this in mind, we will collaboratively build a tailored approach that is influenced in part by CBT, DBT, Bowenian theory, mindfulness, and MBT.
I've worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures, as well as families and individuals of all ages. I am experienced in helping my clients through self-esteem issues, identity exploration, intimacy issues, anxiety, depression, and grief.
