Emily Carvajal is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in providing strength-based support to children, teens, and adults in both mental health and child and family service settings. Emily has over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, working with clients impacted by chronic illness, disability, anxiety, depression, family and relationship challenges, complex social stressors, and trauma. Emily completed her bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development at San Diego State University, and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
She enjoys working with individuals and families from all cultural and racial backgrounds, as well as the LGBTQ+ community, and she firmly believes in the dignity and worth of all individuals.
