Hi, my name is Emily and I am passionate about helping individuals gain awareness and become more empowered and authentic within their identities. A therapeutic relationship with me is collaborative and respectful in nature. I offer care, support, and empathy for each individual I work with. I have experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community, and as a queer therapist, I bring an extra layer of understanding into counseling sessions. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment that will support sexuality and gender identity exploration, discovery, and identification. I believe you are the expert in your own life!
I work with folks going through identity exploration, battling oppressive systems within society, and trying to find a way to exist in the world. I use informed consent for writing HRT & readiness letters. In addition, I work with individuals dealing with various life stressors including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, body image concerns & ADHD.
I offer care, support, and empathy to all. My work affirms diversity and fights for equality. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-racist, sex-positive, kink-positive, and poly-affirming.
