I approach therapy through the lens of guiding my clients to learn to manage the uncertainty and discomfort in what we don't have control of and instead focus on acting on their values, what is important to them/their growth, healing their relationship with themselves, and learning to be an active participant in their own lives.
I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention therapy which is the gold standard of treatment for OCD and anxiety disorders. My style of therapy is focused on mindfulness skills, self-compassion, and helping people embrace themselves for who they are as a person and learn to trust themselves to be able to manage the challenges life tends to bring.
