Whether you are brand new to therapy or have years of experience, I look forward to helping you on the next part of your journey! Although we haven’t met yet, I accept you exactly as you are. I celebrate all of my clients’ unique identities and encourage them to find pride in themselves. I particularly enjoy working with clients who have felt othered or judged by society, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, geeks and gamers, Wiccans and Pagans, neurodivergent people, and anyone else who is looking for a safe, non-judgmental space to feel truly heard.
I work with older teens (16 and up), adults, and older adults. I particularly love working with individuals on identity exploration, self-esteem, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship issues, time and stress management, sexual expression and pleasure, and autonomy. As a neurodivergent individual myself, I love working with neurodivergent clients!
I serve clients throughout Texas and offer virtual therapy. Feel free to reach out by email or phone for a free consultation to learn more. I’d love to chat with you and hear more about your goals for therapy. Looking forward to speaking with you! Emily Adler, LMSW is supervised by Arlene Montgomery, PhD, LCSW-S and works for JHS Therapy.
