My goal is to create a counseling environment that encourages growth and healing. I work with clients to understand their situation and background in order to foster a strong therapeutic alliance. I believe in finding meaning in life even when it may be hard to pick out. I work from an existential perspective to help clients determine their purpose and create a space for them to work towards that purpose.
I enjoy working with different clients including individuals, couples and families. I find that communication is one of the most important aspects of mental health whether it is communicating with others or yourself. I believe in creating positive self talk in order to establish a positive internal relationship as well as healthier external relationships.
