Recognizing the need to seek therapy is both courageous and difficult. Working with a therapist who is a good "fit" is integral. I enjoy working with clients who are willing to do the work necessary to reap the benefits. I work with people who present with relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and other daily life issues. I have worked extensively with individuals and families in crisis. I work collaboratively with the client to establish ways to cope with their difficulties in a warm, empathic environment. I am EMDR certified and utilize this modality as appropriate.
I utilize a variety of techniques to assist clients through the therapeutic process and tailor my techniques and interventions to the need of the client. I am EMDR certified and with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety and have histories of trauma.
