I have experience supporting several populations, including children aged 5 and above, adolescents, adults and adolescents in transitional phases, older generations, and women. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and have experience working with adults affected by alcohol use disorders, rural communities, military dependents, non-traditional/blended families, and neurodivergent individuals. I also enjoy working with individuals who are new to therapy or wary about receiving therapy. I strive to foster an environment where my clients are comfortable enough to open up about their thoughts and emotions.
My therapeutic approach depends on the age and preferences of the individual client. I often integrate play therapy, strength-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I encourage clients to be equal partners in their growth by creating a safe and comfortable environment with a free-flowing conversation style.
As a neurodivergent person, I can offer unique insights for clients with ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Autism, and more. I am someone who can relate to many of the struggles and obstacles that you might be facing. I encourage open and honest communication and I personalize your treatment to fit you.
