I have been in the mental health field for six years with a master’s in mental health counseling and, currently, obtaining my doctorate in counselor education. I have worked with a plethora of symptomatic presentations, but my specialties lie in cutting-edge practices of chronic pain and mind-body disorders, sexual disorders, and trauma/PTSD. Prior experience in domestic violence and sexual assault crisis counseling, along with community advocacy for mental health services. I view health holistically: mind, body, and spirit. I have a deep understanding of how our mind and body effect one another; overall health is my priority.
My goal is in the name of my practice: to restore hope for my clients. Mental health and chronic pain can leave us feeling hopeless for the future; we will work together to help you live your best life. We will assess all components of your health and make needed changes at your own pace.
My therapeutic style is warm, humorous, straight-forward, and compassionate. I simply view my clients as a human-being trying to navigate this world just like all of us.
