Hello there, my name is Ellie Pinnock, and I am a licensed therapist (LPC) serving the state of Colorado via telehealth. I utilize a client-centered and trauma-informed approach to therapy to help clients achieve their goals and live authentically aligned with their values. I use a combination of therapy techniques to cater my care to each individual I serve. My main treatment approaches are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Humanistic Therapy including Emotionally focused and Existential Therapy.
I specialize in helping individuals struggling with anxiety and trauma-related disorders which can present with perfectionism, people-pleasing, and overthinking/overachieving. I also have a passion for helping those who are suffering from depression and grief after having suffered loss understand and adapt to life after loss and depression.
I aim to create a safe, relaxing atmosphere for my clients where they can truly show up as their authentic selves and often use therapeutic humor to build rapport and gently help clients address the issues that are bringing them to therapy.
