I am passionate about working with adolescents managing anxiety & depression; adults facing life changes or who have experienced trauma; OCD and ERP; and working with individuals or those involved in improving their relationships (couples or polycule therapy). I am proud to be an affirming clinician, supporting clients who identify as LGBTQIA+ & those from marginalized backgrounds. Working closely with parents as individuals or as part of a family system is also a specialty of mine. I understand the stress, pressure, love, & energy ever-present in parenting, & strive to help folx find methods, support, & balance.
My approach includes helping clients see “outside the bubble” we find ourselves in from time to time. From grief & loss to sexuality & intimacy, I work with clients to find or rediscover their authentic voices, creating a therapeutic “nest” of trust, compassion, and a healthy curiosity for the self.
I am a graduate of The Family Institute at Northwestern University and have trained in Emotionally-Focused Family Therapy, Radically-Open DBT, & am grounded in psychodynamic & person-centered approaches. I use CBT, Gottman Techniques, & Gestalt, along with my trademark humor & empathy. I walk along side you, listening and sharing skills. Let’s chat!
