I love working with people of all ages! But I have a special place in my heart for kiddos, teens, and young adults. Most of all, I love when I get to work with someone who is ready to take charge of their mental health care and make the changes needed to see the results they want. I believe in a collaborative style of counseling, where the client and I work together to find the solutions to their specific issues. If you let it, counseling can be the sandpaper that polishes away rough edges and blemishes until there’s a whole new you!
My goal for counseling is to help individuals working through trauma, grief, anxiety, depression and adjustment to life’s many transitions. I am trained in EMDR, Prepare-Enrich couples model, Solution-Focused Brief & play therapy tools. I have experience working with people in substance abuse and lots of experience working with kids, teens and young adults.
I’m grateful for each and every client I get the privilege to work with. I believe that each client is placed with me for a reason greater than either of us. I hope that we will be able to work together to meet your therapy goals!
