Welcome! I’m Ellie, a therapist in Denver specializing in trauma-informed care for women, FWTNB folks with relationship trauma, anxiety, and high sensitivity. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where every client feels safe and seen. I tend not to make promises in therapy, but here are two things I know to be true: 1. You deserve to be well and 2. No one has ever hated themselves into happiness. Together, we'll cultivate the self-compassion you need to heal and thrive.
My approach is person-centered, meaning I use techniques from various psychological disciplines to tailor my work to fit each client’s needs. I am EMDR-trained and enjoy using this modality with clients whose trauma symptoms compromise their daily life or sense of self. I also utilize internal family systems (IFS) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
