As a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, I aim to assist individuals, couples, and families in navigating life transitions, chronic illness/new diagnoses, and communication issues, as well as discovering dreams and desires. I firmly believe in the principles of love, respect, and kindness for every individual. I am dedicated to a collaborative approach, where we can discuss your expectations and collectively work towards achieving them. This is a safe space for you to decide what you want to focus on, explore, and ultimately make changes that benefit you, and I will be there to support you on this journey.
I implement a strengths-based Narrative approach, where we can work together to discover pieces of your story that aren't working for you and use your strengths to help guide you to your preferred story. I also draw from Gottman and EFT in my work with couples to enhance understanding and improve communication.
My approach is to be curious and supportive and to encourage you to engage in the work that will lead you to discover your true self and build the relationships you desire. I deeply respect the vulnerability that comes with seeking therapy and would be honored to be a part of your journey.
