I am an LGCP who brings a decade of experience as a critical care nurse and fifteen years of teaching experience to her counseling practice. My area of focus is with working with adults and couples. I am also committed to supporting those navigating infertility and perinatal mental health challenges. I aim to help my clients feel safe, validated, and empowered to make positive changes. I use a person-centered approach, which means that I emphasize the importance of the client's unique experience, prioritize the needs and goals of each client, and work collaboratively with them to create a personalized plan for their therapy.
In my work, I bring a set of core values that include collaboration, empathy, genuineness, and acceptance. I believe that therapy is most effective when there is a strong and trusting relationship between the therapist and the client. These values help me to build that connection with my clients.
