My areas of specialties are working with adults facing life transitions, chronic pain and illness, and mood disorders to help individuals redefine their sense of self. I also accept working with older teenagers who will be entering adulthood soon, to help support navigating the anxieties around such an important life transition. I also have a background in couples counseling founded int he Gottman theory and enjoy helping individuals navigate issues in their relationships.
I value utilizing a holistic and person centered approach as each individual I work with is unique in their own situation. I also approach each session with pulling from a variety of specialties including CBT, DBT, EFT, tapping, and the Gottman method as needed. I also value considering physical health, family background, and cultural considerations.
With so many fast changes in our lives, it is easy to feel lost, overwhelmed, and unsure of one's self - questioning our own thoughts and decisions.
