I’m here to help those who have been called, or might consider themselves a "highly-sensitive" individual. The sensitivity might be a result from experiencing trauma, or due to sensory processing difficulties. Specifically, I support those with Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders, and Chronic illnesses. In therapy, clients are looking for a safe space to process their life experiences. As a late diagnosed and identified neurodivergent therapist, my goal is to empower my client who may experience the world in this beautiful and "different" way.
Being a Counselor and Art Therapist allows me to work with those who require a non traditional approach to therapy; because some days we need to talk and process, and on other days we need to create and regulate! Whether or not you consider yourself an artist or creative individual, I am also here to help you connect with your inner self through expression.
Deciding to make changes and seeking help can be intimidating. You are here, and that in itself is brave. I believe having a person to process life with, that has no biased opinions and a lending ear, can be a validating and empowering experience. As your therapist, I hope I can be that person.
