My name is Elizabeth Ross. Most clients call me Dr. Liz. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Congratulations on taking this first step in seeking treatment. I have been working in the field since 2004. Working as a psychologist has never been a job, it is a life passion. I am here to support you. My clinical experience includes working with adolescents, families, couples, and adults in outpatient and inpatient treatment settings as well as working with diverse populations.
I have treated many dually diagnosed individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, severe mental illness, and substance-related disorders, as well as individuals with strenuous life circumstances. Loss and grief, struggles at home or work, parenting and just getting through daily life challenges.
Self-compassion is a way for providers and clients to be mindful of our shared human experience of pain and ways to begin to heal through empathy and kindness to ourselves. I utilize a number of approaches depending on the best way to help you. No one way works for everyone. Most important it is about getting top quality care that you deserve.
