I have been a practicing psychotherapist in the metropolitan area for the past 25 years. I received my B.A. from the University of Virginia and MSW from Catholic University. Emotional distress, as uncomfortable as it is, represents not only an opportunity to heal, but a chance to grow. It can be a chance to discover how to be effective at reaching one's objectives and achieving fulfillment, whether it be emotional, relational, or professional. My aim is to assist in this process.
I work in a number of different modalities including: individual, couples, group and family therapy. I work with a male co-therapist in running groups and in working with couples. I provide treatment for a variety of issues: anxiety, depression, relationship problems, parenting, infertility, among others.
Working with a co-therapist gives clients the benefit of two clinical perspectives, one female and one male, and facilitates addressing issues which pertain to one gender or the other.
