Life can be hard, and navigating it alone emotionally makes it even more heavy. I know therapy can feel vulnerable but with the right therapist it can be life changing and empowering. My name is Liz, I am a licensed independent clinical social worker, I worked for 8 years at Massachusetts General Hospital and several years ago began working in a private practice setting. I provide mental health support to clients by combining psychotherapy and animal assisted therapy (AAT) with Granite (Golden Retriever Service Dog) in my private practice.
I have a passion for working with clients of all ages and specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, impulse control, low self-esteem, self harm/cutting, grief, postpartum anxiety/depression, changes/loss around medical diagnosis/treatment, and relationship stressors. I also specialize in supporting clients navigating the complexities of parenting.
