Hey! I'm Liz Mediati, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I see therapy as a time to laugh, cry, settle in, and stay a while. My hope is that you may find therapy as a cozy and stretching space to discover your innate sense of you-ness. Working with women, young adults, and LGBTQ+ individuals is my bread and butter. My favorite topics include life transitions, self-esteem, grief and loss, and relationships.
I incorporate bits and pieces of narrative therapy, DBT skills, and Internal Family Systems techniques, with person-centered care as my main mantra. I am a firm believer in you as the storyteller of your own life, and I am here to coach you through learning how to tell your story.
Therapy can be a really intimidating space, as it requires you to show up and speak from your heart. That being said, my goal is to keep the conversation comfortable and casual. I'll meet you wherever your heart's at, and we'll go from there.
