When our emotions control too much of our lives we can feel powerless, unable to achieve our goals and values. I provide a safe and welcoming space to grow awareness and skills to better manage emotions, take back control life, and reach a state of well-being. I work with clients who have various concerns such as stress, depression, anxiety, or more challenging issues. I have extensive experience working with clients having acute or chronic thoughts of suicide and self-harm behavior, creating workable safety plans. As a former police officer, I have an understanding of what first responders experience in their day-to-day lives.
This enhances my ability to support first responders such as Fire, EMS, Police, Dispatchers, and also the Military. I understand clients' struggles with challenges can lead to losing belief in their ability to cope but through our collaboration, they can learn and develop the ability to succeed.
As a member of the Great Lakes Psychology Group network, I have a team standing by Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm Eastern available to help schedule an appointment and answer billing and insurance questions.
