Often times life can seem overwhelming, it can be hard to know the right decision when navigating through daily tasks. Dealing with current stressors, balancing work, maintaining relationships all while still finding time for ourselves. However, slowing things down and taking time for ourselves is the first step to healing. Unhealed wounds can continue to impact us and show up in unhealthy ways, ultimately holding us back from reaching our goals. Finding a safe place to work through these obstacles can be a journey and enlightening experience.
In my therapeutic approach I use a trauma informed model of care. My theoretical orientation pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I have treated various conditions such as PTSD, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders and anxiety.
