Struggling to find a therapist who gets it?! I have a passion for working with Creatives, Queers, Misfits, and those deemed “Too Much” or “Overly Sensitive”. Feeling stuck, lost, teary, distant, numb, cranky, sad, or stressed?! Self-discovery and change is possible when one has the opportunity to feel connected with their therapist and both commit to the process. I am committed to a safe space, free of judgement, and familiar with all the ways the experience of difference can take a toll in one’s life. Providing Telehealth state-wide in California and Maine.
In 2020, I adapted my practice to see primarily adults via Telehealth. I am a depth-oriented psychotherapist as this approach is geared toward gradual and lasting growth and when relevant moves beyond talk therapy. I welcome and incorporate dreams and art if you find this helpful. I work compassionately with the impacts of trauma, this includes cultural.
Incorporated in my approach is the belief that marginalized identities frequently experience negative projections by others. My emphasis includes honoring human wholeness and one's ability to find one's distinct path; this sometimes requires gaining the ability to depersonalize harmful projection.
