Hello, I am Beth Koep. I am a Clinical Social Worker in the Coeur d’Alene area. I use a strengths-based approach. I believe everyone has the capacity to change and is unique with unique experiences, values, and tools. Discovering your values and how they interact with your strengths can provide the motivation to learn new skills to consider different perspectives and approaches to life’s problems. I provide services for teens, adults, and families who are experiencing trauma symptoms, emotional management difficulties, and relationship struggles.
I offer individual sessions, family sessions, skill-based groups, and workshops. I believe your treatment should be as unique as you are. I apply a combination of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Mindfulness-Based Therapies, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Asking for help from a new person can be intimidating. However, taking this courageous step could lead to experiencing being understood, feelings of freedom, and a sense of relief.
