Elizabeth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has been practicing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) since 2019. She received her Masters in Social Work from Walla Walla University and worked as a medical social worker before coming to LifeStance. Elizabeth uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy collaboratively with clients. She believes that using warmth, authenticity, and humor creates an atmosphere of connection, safety and the vulnerability which develops a therapeutic relationship that supports growth.
The main focus of her practice is to assist clients in decreasing the influence and impact of challenging thoughts, feelings and situations so that they are able to engage in building a rich meaningful life based on what they care about. When not meeting with clients, Elizabeth enjoys hiking, painting, cooking and spending time with her family and pets.
