I will provide you with the safe environment necessary to address conflicts, vulnerabilities and painful life circumstances during the process of psychotherapy. I work with adults, adolescents and couples to address issues related to relationship/family conflicts, employment/education, parenting, single-parenthood and mood disorders. I have a particular interest and expertise in working with mothers and daughters and the issues and conflicts unique to them.
We will work together to explore underlying dynamics related to your expressed conflicts and vulnerabilities and to develop insight into their origin. Cognitive/behavioral strategies will be incorporated into treatment so that you feel more in control of your life, better-equipped to manage conflicts and empowered to facilitate change in your life.
I provide coaching to help achieve goals which seem to be beyond your reach whether personal or career-related. If you feel stuck, lack momentum to pursue your goals or are unsure of what your goals are, coaching can identify them and create an action-oriented plan to achieve them.
