Groups
Intentional Pregnancy: First Time Giving Birth
I offer a 5 session group for women who are pregnant and have never given birth. The group meets once a month for 90 minutes and covers topics of interest, including perinatal care, depression and anxiety, and postpartum care. Partners or support people are invited to attend one of the sessions, so they can learn how to best support you in maintaining wellness throughout the pregnancy journey. Time will be devoted each session to discussing the educational content and practicing self-care techniques.
Intentional Parenting
Many parents - new or seasoned - lose sight of the moment at hand. Imagine if you could parent more intentionally, remain present in each moment, connect more with your family, and feel more joy. Participating in an educational and experiential group, with other committed parents, could help you achieve these goals. I offer an 8 session group that meets once a week for 90 minutes and covers topics of interest, including mindful parenting, attachment styles, interpersonal connection, and self-compassion. Group members will learn and practice a mindfulness exercise each session. Parents may attend the group individually or as a couple.
Intentional Pregnancy: Women with Children
I offer a 5 session group for pregnant women with children. This group provides women an opportunity to reflect on past experience, both struggles and successes, to set intentions for the future.
