Whether working with kids, teens, or adults, I hold the same underlying belief: there is no such thing as a "bad" thought or feeling; only a part of oneself that requires more curiosity, attention, and care. My work draws heavily from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, Feminist Psychology, mindfulness, and self-compassion practices. I take a playful approach to working with children that taps into the natural creativity of childhood and am influenced by the work of Dr. Becky Kennedy, which recognizes the innate goodness of kids and caregivers and prioritizes loving relationships and safe boundaries.
I also enjoy working with couples and have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I celebrate all identities and relationships and enjoy helping partners uncover patterns, learn new communications skills, navigate rupture and repair, and rekindle feelings of fondness, admiration, and fun.
With a background in gentle yoga, I have a deep respect for the mind-body connection while also recognizing the larger societal systems that cause people to feel shame about their bodies and offer false notions of “self-care.” I help clients identify their unique needs and explore the practices that make them feel most fulfilled, lively, and loved.
