I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with twenty-five years of experience in the mental health field. My experience includes, but is not limited to, relationship issues, adjustment issues, grief/loss issues, stress management, communication issues, self-esteem issues, domestic violence issues, and mood disorders. I serve adults of all ages and couples at any stage of a relationship. I am sensitive and respectful of an individual’s lifestyle and cultural and ethnic background. I provide a comfortable environment within which you will not be judged and your thoughts and feelings are respected.
My most important task in therapy is to establish a safe environment so that a sense of trust can be developed. This sense of trust forms the “working relationship” which is essential for improvements or change to occur. Clients have told me that they feel relaxed when they speak to me.
I believe treatment must be tailored to the needs of the unique individual. I have a multifacited style which utilizies Congnative Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused and Psycohdynamic Therapies. I would be honored to be of help to you with your personal issues.
