I provide online individual therapy utilizing evidence-based practices such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Solution Focused Therapy. I specialize in substance abuse, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders. I work with individuals who are experiencing life transitions and young adults leaving home for the first time.
I am a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 40 years experience in treating co-occurring disorders (substance abuse and mental health). I prefer to work with adults.
I work part-time 2 days/evenings per week. I specialize in LGBTQI+ population and have worked with many transgender individuals. My varied work and life experiences and training have provided me with the ability to be empathic about situations individuals have difficulty talking about.
