My role as a therapist is to provide an environment of safety, trust and mutual respect for each individual I work with. I am committed to supporting improvement in your quality of life. Effective counseling can assist you in developing an awareness of personal strengths, clarifying problems and arriving at solutions. Your active involvement is an important component in changing behavior, thoughts and feelings. I currently have a wait list but please email me if you would like to be on my wait list.
I use a variety of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and skills to help you explore individual growth, change and to encourage the discovery of true hope, healing, peace and joy. I am EMDR trained. This therapeutic method can help desensitize and reprocess current and past trauma memories.
Some areas of strength include parenting skills, conflict resolution, military family challenges, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, motivational issues, PTSD and trauma interventions, transitions of aging, emotional regulation, adjustment issues, integration of psychology and spirituality and relationship issues. I look forward to meeting with you soon.
