I am Eliza Warde, a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). I believe that you are the expert on You and through questions and observations, I can offer guidance in helping you achieve your goals. Areas of focus include depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, parenting, and competitive performance issues. My therapeutic approach can vary depending on the client. Client-centered therapy is a nondirective approach to therapy, focusing on maximizing the client's ability to find their own solutions with support from the therapist.
Typical issues that my clients present with are depression, stress, anxiety, self-esteem, and challenges in parenting. I also am knowledgeable regarding competitive athletics and performance issues.
I follow the client's lead in regard to goal setting. Some clients begin therapy with specific goals in mind, while others develop goals over time and through the therapeutic process.
