I love being a therapist and consider working with individuals an honor, not just a job. I am passionate about helping individuals improve their present situation, process their past, and enjoy better mental health. I create my sessions around the belief that my clients are the experts in their experiences. I have experience and enjoy working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, trauma, and neurodivergent diagnoses, such as ADHD and autism (ASD). I am LGBTQIA+ affirming.
I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and have experience using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I have been in the social work field since 2016, working in residential treatment centers and out-patient agencies.
I believe one of the most important indicators of effective therapy is the client-therapist relationship. I know that therapy can be incredibly intimidating, and so I do my best to create a comfortable and curious space for each of my clients' individual needs.
