I'm Elise Froistad, LMFT. Sometimes life is not working or people are not feeling their best but aren't sure what the problem is but they know they want life and/or themselves to be different and need someone to help make the changes. I partner with people to help them figure out what isn't working and find solutions that will help get them to a place of improved well-being, functioning, and overall greater satisfaction in their relationships with themselves, others, and the world around them.
I work with teens through adults of all ages. I have mostly worked with women of all ages, but have experience working with men. While most of my experience is with people experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship and identity struggles, and grief, the people I work with are stuck in some way or another and need help to move forward.
I use a holistic approach but often help clients determine the root cause of their current situation and how that is contributing to their present mood, functioning, and quality of their relationships. I help them ask the right questions and find the answers that work for them through a variety of modalities.
