Hi! I'm Elise. I utilize a unique & integrative approach to counseling, incorporating an experiential mind/body/spirit approach, somatic modalities, movement, & eco therapy into our sessions to help you reach your goals and deepen your connection to yourself. All of our work takes place within a neurobiological and attachment theory lens. I mainly work folks healing from trauma, anxiety and depression. Healing looks unique for each of us and I will meet you where you are on your journey. I believe the medicine is in the moment & when we feel safe in relationship, and we are curious, present, and compassionate, healing can happen.
Utilizing a variety of unique somatic based techniques to help create new imprints in your nervous system, you can experience more trust in your self, increase self- confidence and restore balance and joy in your life. Your treatment will be unique and personalized to meet your needs. I specialize in parts work, somatic, & mindfulness based modalities.
Ultimately, our work together will help you come into contact with your most authentic self. I believe you hold the inherent wisdom within you to heal and thrive. Being in nature helps us relieve stress & burnout, reduces anxiety & worry, and helps boost immunity. When we restore our connection with nature, remembering we are intertwined, the potential for growth and healing deepens. We will practice gentle & simple mindfulness techniques to restore our connection to self and to nature. We will also take time to share and integrate our experiences. Curiosity & compassion will be the main focus as we meet ourselves where we are in each moment with radical acceptance. Each session runs 4 weeks and takes place outdoors at a local nature area.
