Living well is an art that nurtures body, mind, and spirit. I believe every individual contains the ability to heal themselves, but sometimes we get stuck in negative patterns and need outside perspectives. Therapy allows us to reprocess the past, to move beyond automatic responses, and live fully in the present. It is also about reimagining and actualizing the best life possible. By talking with an empathic and nonbiased specialist, we can heal unhealthy coping mechanisms and find the path to our true selves.
In addition to my education in counseling, I hold a master’s degree in creative writing. I have a deep appreciation for storytelling and a fascination with how our inner dialogue shapes our self-concept. I combine Internal Family Systems and somatic processing into my theoretical approach to heal complex trauma.
I entered the field of counseling at the age of 40. After years of personal turmoil, I received help in growing whole and wished to reimaging my own future. I am inspired to help others find this gift for themselves.
