I provide counseling for people who are struggling with anxiety and depression. My areas of focus include, but are not limited to: grief, cancer, family planning, life transitions, living with a chronic illness, and interpersonal conflict. I also work with people who feel disconnected from their meaning and purpose in life. Additionally, I am trained to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia for those who would like to address their insomnia using non pharmacological interventions. Currently licensed in FL, VA, OH, and KY.
I take a compassionate, analytical and direct approach to counseling, while incorporating mindfulness and meaning making into our sessions. I offer both supportive counseling as well as goal oriented / behavioral modification counseling. My specialty includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalysis/Psychoanalytic work.
I provide free 15-minute consultations for individual counseling. I have daytime, evening and weekend availability and am accepting new clients. Insurance can be billed if in network.
