My ideal client is someone who has reached a point where they are looking to improve but are not sure what to do next, or how to achieve a better mental state. I primarily work with adults ages 18+ on a variety of things including but not limited to transitioning back in the community after being incarcerated, anxiety, anger management, depression, difficulties adjusting, bi-polar disorder, personality disorders, life changes, building emotional intelligence, grief/loss, and crisis interventions/management.
I have a background of working in a forensic/prison setting and use a very open minded and creative approach when listening, exploring, and helping individuals process their experiences. I lean on CBT interventions to help clients understand the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and how altering one, can alter them all.
