Assertive From Within
Assertive From Within is a walking/hiking group for teenage girls. This small and structured walking group meets at Poway lake every Saturday morning at 9:00AM. We walk together and talk about topics such as: Assertiveness, setting personal goals, healthy self-expression and social media, building body positivity, overcoming obstacles and disappointment, growing self-advocacy skills, and so much more. The themes are influenced by the needs of the group and may vary. Mindfulness and Meditation practice incorporated. Assertive From Within walking/hiking is an activity where girls can find support, friendship, mentoring, and coaching.
