I am a seasoned clinician with experience working in community mental health, private practice, medical and educational settings. Anxiety,trauma and mental health issues in children can have pervasive effects if not addressed. Today, effective treatments exist. I use treatments with research support for their effectiveness. And, we will work together to find the most effective solutions for you.
Anxiety conditions I work with include: separation anxiety, OCD, selective mutism, post-traumatic stress disorder, child traumatic grief, distress following single incident traumas such as car accidents and natural disasters, child physical abuse and child sexual abuse. Additionally, I have a special interest in treating professionals who are experiencing compassion fatigue or vicarious traumatization.
