Life catches us all off guard sometimes and sends us reeling. There are ways to finding a balance again, some healthy, some not so healthy. Finding someone to listen to you is one of the healthier ways to begin your journey back to that balanced state that we all need to keep going and hopefully find joy in life again. It's that interaction between two people, one telling the story and one listening, where the validation of the storyteller and the story are born. And the healing begins there.
I use Voice Dialogue, guided imagery, Dreamtending work and client-centered therapy with women in groups and individuals who are looking for balance again or who are in need of empowerment to get through the many transitions life brings us; i.e. relationship challenges, aging issues, self-esteem issues, codependency, transpersonal issues and grief.
I know therapy is not an easy path towards healing, as I have been there myself and have experienced the pain of healing. But as one who has come out on the other side, I am glad I did it. I am one of those who is willing to listen to you, to help you find your way back to a balance within yourself and hopefully with hard work come out on the other side.
