My desire is to come alongside you to help you gently address the pains from your past with compassion to guide you to a chapter of discovering hope. Sometimes our past experiences lead us to get stuck in unhelpful thought and belief patterns that inhibit us from being our best selves. I am passionate about helping my clients learn to adapt to new healthier ways of thinking that align with their values and life purpose. My approach is warm and gentle to create a safe place for healing and change to take place.
My special interest is in helping adult children of emotionally immature or personality-disordered parents. I also enjoy working with clients recovering from emotional abuse, self-esteem issues, depression, and anxiety. I value helping my clients improve their relationships with themselves by learning to treat themselves with more kindness and Acceptance.
Obtained my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. I implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Mindfulness as interventions with my clients. I look forward to creating an environment for you to be known and understood, and to gain new tools to keep moving forward.
