I am passionate about creating a space for marginalized communities such as BIPOC and LGBTQIA+. As a woman of color, my own experiences of growing up in rural Western North Carolina as a child of immigrant parents heavily inform my practice and passion for advocating for minority communities. I have experience working alongside clients as they explore identity and believe we all deserve a safe, judgment-free space to foster self-exploration. My work is based on a holistic, person-centered, and strength-based perspective.
I have worked in an outpatient setting treating mood and anxiety disorders, in addition to addressing themes such as trauma, life transitions, break-ups/divorces, chronic illness, sex, and identity exploration. I work with individuals to foster an environment that is built on mutual trust, safety, and collaboration.
If you are reading this, you are likely on the precipice of feeling ready to pursue healing, and for that I applaud you. Whether you decide to pursue therapy now or in the future, I encourage you to congratulate yourself on taking these initial steps. I look forward to the prospect of hearing your story!
