I’ve been a licensed psychotherapist for many years and now retired. Over the span of my career, I’ve worked with children, adults and families to help them achieve a higher quality of life. This is why people seek out therapy. I recognize when people experience symptoms of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, adult ADHD, depression, stress, or struggles that arise in work, friends, close/marital and family relationships can often lead to feeling trapped. I can help you become aware of negative thinking through the process of self-discovery so you can approach difficult situations with more rationality and balanced thinking. This can be a useful way to deal with emotional challenges related to mental conditions, as well as daily life challenges, that leave you feeling trapped and uncertain of your next move.
I will collaborate with you to decide the best approach by encouraging clients to voice their thoughts and feelings about a problematic situation and provider relevant task outside the therapy session to keep the momentum going.
