My name is Eamonn and I’m a licensed Resident in Counseling with three years of therapy experience with individuals and families. I earned my Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Mason University. Before entering the counseling field, I taught special education and worked in mental health crisis de-escalation.
I work to establish a trauma-informed atmosphere of safety with all clients, developing strategies that clients can use to cope with challenging emotions both inside and outside the therapy session. I draw from psychodynamic, gestalt, and cognitive behavioral approaches, and offer online sessions for ease of access.
