I have extensive training and experience working with children, teens and young adults ages 8 through mid-twenties who struggle emotionally, behaviorally, and socially. I have firsthand experience working with kids in an educational setting as a School Counselor which has helped me better understand the challenges kids face today while at school. We will explore, identify and set goals to create an environment that fosters active participation in the counseling process through exploration of feelings, personal history, attitudes, beliefs, developmental needs, communication, self-expression, emotional regulation, and awareness.

I use a variety of treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, Brainspotting, Play Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior therapy, as well as incorporating trauma-informed therapy, when necessary.

My passion is working with children, teens, and young adults. I enjoy the process of learning who they are, what their needs are, how I can help guide them on their journey, and assisting in their growth and potential.

Brainspotting is a very effective treatment modality that I use rooted in neuroscience. The goal of counseling is to move clients from dysregulation to regulation.
