E is passionate about helping adults ages 18+ using Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help people regulate their emotions, learn to walk with trauma, and cope with depression. She often works with trauma and Narrative therapy in tandem. She is certified in Trauma-FocusedCT.
E believes that people decide to become social workers for a variety of reasons: they themselves have been helped, a close family member has been helped, or they just have a genuine bone in their bodies that wants to help. E identifies with all three reasons.
